Hezbollah’s Raad Calls Iran a Regional Deterrent Force

Crowds gathered outside the Iranian embassy in Beirut on Wednesday in response to a call by Hezbollah, marking what was described as a significant moment in Iran’s resistance against recent military pressure. Among those present was Ahmed Mohebbi, a 42-year-old participant who expressed satisfaction with what he considered Iran’s ability to withstand considerable military and political challenges. He emphasized the symbolic value of endurance in the face of adversity, interpreting it as a form of national and ideological success.

Leading the speeches at the event, senior Hezbollah figure Mohammad Raad addressed supporters by affirming Iran’s emerging influence. He stated that the country had proven itself to be a powerful deterrent actor in the region, attributing this to its capacity to absorb and respond to aggression from more militarily advanced opponents.
