Hezbollah announced on Friday that it had carried out a drone attack targeting a military base in Haifa, located in northern Israel. This action followed deadly airstrikes in central Beirut the previous day, as the group continues its clashes with Israeli forces along the border.
In a statement, Hezbollah confirmed that it had launched “an air attack using explosive-laden drones” directed at the “air defense command base” in Haifa. The group described this attack as retaliation for Israeli strikes on “cities, villages, and civilians.”
Earlier, Hezbollah had also claimed responsibility for a rocket attack on Israeli forces in Zofolon, north of Haifa.
According to Al-Arabiya television, 30 rockets were fired at Haifa and the Galilee region on Friday morning.
