Hezbollah Fighter Killed in Drone Strike on Beit Leef

On Wednesday, an Israeli drone targeted a car in Sidon, near the Ain el-Helweh camp, shortly after another drone strike in the southern town of Beit Leef killed a Hezbollah fighter.

In retaliation for the Beit Leef strike, Hezbollah launched a suicide drone attack on the Hadb Yaroun post in northern Israel. The group also fired artillery shells at both Hadb Yaroun and Israeli soldiers stationed at the Zarโ€™it barracks.

Earlier that day, Hezbollah had fired more than 50 rockets at the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights in response to a midnight strike in the Bekaa Valley that resulted in the death of a Hezbollah fighter and injuries to 20 others.

In related violence, four Hezbollah fighters were killed on Tuesday in the southern border village of Dhayra. Additionally, two Syrian civilians, including a shepherd, were killed on Wednesday by Israeli shelling in al-Wazzani and the outskirts of al-Khiam.

In a series of retaliatory strikes, Israeli artillery targeted areas in south Lebanon, including al-Litani and the outskirts of Deir Mimas. Overnight, Israeli warplanes and drones also carried out raids on the southern border towns of Aita al-Shaab, Houla, Alma al-Shaab, al-Naqoura, and Wadi Hamoul.
