Lebanon’s Hezbollah group has reported the death of Mustafa Hassan Fawaz, also known as Fidaa, though they did not provide details on the location or timing of his death.
Fawaz, aged 49, was from the town of Dabaal in southern Lebanon, as mentioned by the group on Telegram.
Hezbollah and the Israeli army have been engaging in daily air attacks since the Gaza conflict intensified tensions along the Israeli-Lebanese border.
According to an AFP tally, the cross-border violence since October has resulted in 516 deaths in Lebanon, mostly fighters, along with at least 104 civilians.
On the Israeli side, authorities have reported the deaths of 18 soldiers and 13 civilians.
