Franjieh, Jumblat Convene for Key Talks in Clemenceau

Walid Jumblat, the leader of the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP), recently held a meeting with Suleiman Franjieh, the leader of Marada and a presidential candidate backed by Hezbollah, in Clemenceau.

Bilal Abdallah, a member of parliament from the PSP, commented on the meeting, stating that the party is actively engaged in developing a domestic solution that involves cooperation with all political groups.

According to a report by PSP’s news outlet al-Anbaa, despite the existing differences between Jumblat and Franjieh, they share several commonalities. This mutual ground allows for potential collaboration between the two leaders, especially as tensions continue to rise along the southern borders.
