Envoys to Lebanon: Major Negotiation Breakthrough Expected in August

Diplomatic and security envoys have informed Lebanese officials that a significant breakthrough in the Israel-Hamas negotiations is expected in August, according to well-informed sources.

“The envoys emphasized that a political solution is essential to contain the escalation between Israel and Hezbollah and to prevent the current confrontations from escalating into a major war,” the sources told al-Joumhouria newspaper in remarks published on Thursday.
