Doctor Who New Season Unveils Trailer, Guest Stars, and Episode Titles

Doctor Who enthusiasts received a delightful Easter surprise with the release of an exciting new trailer, the announcement of a fresh guest star joining the series, and the revelation of all episode titles for the upcoming season.

Scheduled to debut in May, the forthcoming season introduces Ncuti Gatwa, famed for his role in Sex Education, as the fifteenth Doctor. Alongside him, Millie Gibson will star as his companion, Ruby Sunday.

The latest trailer offers a glimpse into the adventurous lives of Doctor Who and Ruby Sunday, showcasing their time-travel escapades. From visiting the Victorian era to encountering space babies in the 1960s, the duo embarks on a journey filled with mystery-solving and battling foes.

This season, which signifies a new chapter for the beloved series, continues from the narrative established in the special Christmas episode titled “The Church on Ruby Road.”

Guest starring in the season’s first episode is Golda Rosheuvel, renowned for her role in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, where she portrays Jocelyn. Showrunner Russell T Davies expressed his excitement about Golda’s inclusion, praising her talent and welcoming her to the Doctor Who family.

Golda is among an impressive lineup of guest stars for the season, including Callie Cooke, Dame Siân Phillips, Alexander Devrient, Bhav Joshi, Indira Varma, Angela Wynter, Anita Dobson, Aneurin Barnard, Yasmin Finney, Jonathan Groff, Gwïon Morris Jones, Majid Mehdizadeh-Valoujerdy, Caoilinn Springall, and Tachia Newall.

To further heighten fans’ anticipation, the creators disclosed the titles, directors, and writers for all episodes:
