Dexter: Resurrection has officially launched its first season, marking a continuation of the acclaimed serial killer saga that began nearly two decades ago.
The new installment serves as both a sequel to the original Dexter series and its 2021 follow-up Dexter: New Blood, bringing back Michael C. Hall as the iconic Dexter Morgan. Streaming now on Paramount+ Premium, the series revives the chilling tale of the vigilante killer with a fresh storyline and a star-studded cast.
Picking Up After New Blood
Set just one week after the explosive finale of Dexter: New Blood, the new series finds Dexter on a determined search for his estranged son, Harrison Morgan, portrayed once again by Jack Alcott. Harrison’s sudden disappearance appears to be tied to the enigmatic tech billionaire Leon Prater, played by Peter Dinklage, whose presence adds a new layer of intrigue to the story.
In Dexter: Resurrection, viewers are treated to a robust supporting cast that includes Uma Thurman, David Zayas, Dominic Fumusa, James Remar, and Krysten Ritter. Their characters play pivotal roles as Dexter navigates a dark new web of secrets and threats. Adding even more excitement, the series promises appearances from an impressive list of guest stars such as Neil Patrick Harris, John Lithgow (returning as the unforgettable Trinity Killer), Eric Stonestreet, David Dastmalchian, Erik King, Jimmy Smits, and Marc Menchaca.
