Berri Declares: We Have Not Been Defeated

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has reportedly stated that Israel is behaving “as if we have lost the war, but we have not been defeated.” According to sources cited by Al-Arabiya, Berri emphasized that the fighting is still ongoing and that Israel is facing its own losses on the battlefield.

The sources further indicated that Berri is committed to carrying out the terms agreed upon with U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein, strictly adhering to the initial terms without any alterations. Additionally, they noted that Berri has not received any communication about a potential new visit from Hochstein to Beirut.
