On Monday, Israeli warplanes launched an attack on a residential area in the southern border town of al-Naqoura, according to the National News Agency (NNA).
The strikes demolished two houses near the town’s municipality. Following this, a drone strike targeted a Hezbollah paramedic team en route to the site of the initial attack.
Subsequently, Israeli fighter jets bombed the southern border town of Mays al-Jabal.
The drone strike in al-Naqoura injured a civilian, NNA reported, while local TV networks indicated four deaths and several injuries from the strikes on Mays al-Jabal and al-Naqoura.
Hezbollah announced the deaths of two fighters from al-Naqoura, referring to them as martyrs “on the road to Jerusalem,” a phrase signifying those killed by Israel.
Earlier, Hezbollah had targeted the al-Raheb post in northern Israel and the Zebdine post in the occupied Shebaa Farms.
In retaliation for the Naqoura strike, Hezbollah later attacked the Biranit barracks with a heavy Burkan missile.
Israeli warplanes also struck Jabal Blat, al-Odaisseh, and the outskirts of Aitaroun overnight. Meanwhile, Hezbollah launched nine attacks on Israeli posts using artillery shells, missiles, and suicide drones on Sunday.
