Air France and its low-cost subsidiary Transavia France have announced that their flights to Beirut will remain suspended until at least Tuesday due to “security” concerns in the region, according to Air France-KLM on Saturday.
These airlines initially halted their flights to Beirut on Monday, following Israel’s vow of retaliation against Hezbollah, which it accused of launching rockets that killed 12 people in the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights.
Meanwhile, flights to Tel Aviv will continue as scheduled, a spokesperson informed AFP.
