Israeli Army Chief Greenlights New Plans for Lebanon Front

During a visit to the Northern Command headquarters in Safed, Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, the Israeli army chief, has given the green light to fresh strategies for operations on the northern front, as announced by the Israeli military.

The decision was made in a meeting that included an evaluation of ongoing operations, involving Halevi, Northern Command’s head Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin, and other General Staff members. This development occurs against the backdrop of ongoing hostilities with Hezbollah along the Lebanon border and recent Israeli military actions in Syria.
