Israel Suggests France Could Have a Crucial Role in Preventing Conflict in Lebanon

During a joint media briefing with French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna on Sunday, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen expressed that France could be pivotal in averting a conflict in Lebanon, amidst ongoing border tensions with Hezbollah. Cohen emphasized France’s potential to significantly contribute to peace efforts in the region. Following her meetings in Israel, Colonna is slated to visit Lebanon.
