Israeli Strike Kills Lebanese Soldier, Injures Four Paramedics in South Lebanon

The Lebanese military reported that an Israeli airstrike during a joint rescue mission with the Red Cross in southern Lebanon resulted in the death of a Lebanese soldier on Thursday.

The incident, which occurred in the village of Taybeh, also left another soldier injured, according to the army’s statement.

Additionally, the Lebanese Red Cross confirmed that four of its volunteers were wounded during the operation. Despite having coordinated their movements with U.N. peacekeepers, the convoy, which included Lebanese troops, was still attacked near Taybeh.
