Wolverine’s Wastelanders Premiere Date Set for March

The upcoming season of the Hindi Audible Original podcast series Marvel’s Wastelanders is poised for its release, with Wolverine taking the lead in this exciting installment. Following the riveting portrayals of Black Widow by Kareena Kapoor, Star-Lord by Saif Ali Khan, and Hawkeye by Jaideep Ahlawat, it is now Wolverine’s turn to captivate listeners with a thrilling narrative set in Marvel’s distinctive universe.

Sharad Kelkar lends his voice to the formidable Wolverine, alongside a talented cast including Mithila Palkar as Sofia, Neelam Kothari as Jean Grey, Aadil Khan as Captain America, and several others who bring to life beloved Marvel characters. The series is set to premiere on March 13, 2024, continuing the momentum of the first three successful seasons of Marvel’s Wastelanders which debuted in 2023.

The storyline of Marvel’s Wastelanders: Wolverine unfolds thirty years after supervillains have triumphed over superheroes, with the Red Skull seizing control of the United States. Haunted by the loss of the Avengers, the X-Men, and burdened with guilt, Wolverine stumbles upon Sofia, a young mutant. He commits to her safety, aiming to reunite her with Kitty Pryde and Rachel Summers. However, when the Red Skull and Crossbones target Wolverine, igniting anti-mutant hysteria, he is forced into a confrontation that reveals a devastating truth.

Marvel’s Wastelanders marks the inaugural partnership between Audible and Marvel Entertainment, offering a global audio experience with versions in multiple languages including French, German, Hindi, Italian, and Japanese.

While Wolverine’s story is the focus of the current season, the series will continue with Doom and another yet-to-be-announced installment, details of which remain under wraps. The original English series kicked off in June 2021, crafted by Jenny Turner Hall with sound design by Michael Odmark and Daniel Brunell, and featuring original music by Rhett Miller and John Burdick, setting a high standard for this audio epic.
