Ukraine Forces Pull Out of Avdiivka After Prolonged Conflict

Ukrainian troops have retreated from Avdiivka, a critical battleground in the east, after enduring relentless assaults from Russian forces. This development comes amid a surge in Moscow’s military aggression in the area, marked by continuous airstrikes, artillery bombardment, and ground attacks involving armored vehicles and infantry.

Despite Avdiivka’s limited strategic value, its capture signifies Moscow’s most substantial victory since seizing Bakhmut the previous year, suggesting a shift in the conflict’s momentum in favor of President Vladimir Putin.
