On Tuesday, Turkish authorities apprehended 33 individuals under suspicion of conducting espionage for Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency, as reported by Turkish media. The reports did not disclose the nationalities of those detained.
These arrests occurred during coordinated operations in eight provinces surrounding Istanbul. According to both the private DHA and the state-run Anadolu news agencies, the suspects are believed to have been involved in planning abductions and performing reconnaissance activities.
