Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, the leader of Hezbollah’s executive council, emphasized that his party is proactive in determining its own destiny, rather than being passive in the face of American and Israeli decisions.
Safieddine asserted, “It is we who control the fate of the South, the borders, and the nation’s future in terms of confronting adversaries. We won’t allow these enemies to target Gaza without repercussions.”
He further stated that yielding to the threats from Americans, Western countries, and Zionists would have left them vulnerable to unexpected attacks. Safieddine highlighted that succumbing to these pressures would have allowed their adversaries the opportunity to strike them by surprise at any time, underlining Hezbollah’s stance of resilience and self-determination.
