Since October 7, the death toll in Gaza has risen to over 25,000, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health controlled by Hamas. In the last 24 hours alone, 178 people were killed and 293 were injured, leading to a cumulative total of 25,105 deaths and 62,681 injuries throughout the Gaza Strip during the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
These figures, provided by the Ministry, are difficult to independently confirm due to the complexities of reporting within the conflict zone.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have continued their military operations in Gaza, stating that they have neutralized “dozens of terrorists” and discovered significant amounts of weaponry. A recent operation by IDF snipers, supported by the Israeli Air Force (IAF), resulted in the elimination of several terrorists in Khan Younis, located in southern Gaza. Additionally, IDF troops reported eliminating 15 terrorists in the northern area of Daraj Tuffah.
The IDF also reported the death of an additional soldier in combat, increasing the total number of Israeli military fatalities to 195 since the commencement of the ground invasion of Gaza.
