Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah condemned the ongoing violence in Rafah, describing the actions as evidence of the Israeli enemy’s brutality and treachery.
“You are the beasts,” Nasrallah declared, highlighting the horrific scenes in Gaza, including burned bodies and beheaded children. His remarks were made via video link during a memorial service for his late mother, who passed away on Saturday.
Nasrallah questioned those seeking to normalize relations with Israel, asking, “Who will you normalize relations with? These traitors whose criminality knows no bounds?”
He noted that the International Court of Justice had called for an end to the aggression days ago, but the response was further violent airstrikes. Nasrallah urged for pressure to halt the war and aggression against the people of Gaza.
He stressed that Israel’s massacres should serve as a lesson for Lebanon, emphasizing that reliance on the international community and its laws for protection is futile.
“What protects Lebanon is our resistance, our arms, rifles, people, sacrifices, and the blood of our martyrs, not statements of condemnation,” Nasrallah asserted. He criticized the international community as weak and impotent, noting that it only issues statements of concern and condemnation.
