Manchester City’s star striker, Erling Haaland, will be out of action until the end of January due to a foot injury, as confirmed by manager Pep Guardiola. Haaland, who is the joint top scorer in the Premier League, has missed the team’s last eight games. Guardiola expects the 23-year-old Norwegian to return to training during their camp in Abu Dhabi next week.
Additionally, Swiss defender Manuel Akanji will also be sidelined until the end of the month. However, there is positive news regarding Kevin De Bruyne, who is set to return to the starting lineup. Despite the challenges, Guardiola remains optimistic about City’s chances in the league.
