Lebanese state media reported that on Saturday, an Israeli airstrike hit a marketplace in Nabatiyeh, a significant city in southern Lebanon located approximately 12 kilometers (seven miles) from the Israeli border.
According to the state-run National News Agency (NNA), “Israeli warplanes carried out a strike that targeted the center of the marketplace” in Nabatiyeh. This followed a warning issued by the Israeli military last week, advising residents to evacuate the city.
