Major General Uri Gordin, the commander of the Israeli army’s northern command, visited the Golani Brigade’s combat squad this week, the Israeli army reported on Friday.
“We are dedicated to improving the security situation in the north,” stated Gordin. He assured that “all residents of Metula and the northern region will be able to return to their homes.”
Gordin highlighted the army’s recent achievements, stating, “We have already eliminated over 500 terrorists in Lebanon, most of whom were from Hezbollah, and have destroyed thousands of infrastructures.”
He emphasized the quality of their operations, saying, “When the time comes for us to go on the offensive, it will be a decisive and conclusive attack. This operation will be executed with the utmost precision and effectiveness.”
