Israeli Army Orders Gaza City Evacuation

On Wednesday, the Israeli army dropped leaflets over Gaza City, urging all residents to move to safe zones as the military offensive on the city’s main areas intensifies.

Addressed to “everyone in Gaza City,” the thousands of leaflets detailed routes to safer areas in the south and cautioned that the city would “remain a dangerous combat zone,” according to an AFP journalist.

This follows Israel’s initial formal evacuation order for a section of the city on June 27.
