Iran’s Supreme Leader Declares Hamas and Hezbollah Strong

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated that the coalition of militant groups opposed to Israel remains intact, even after several of their high-ranking leaders have been killed.

The leader expressed optimism, as reported by Iranian state TV on Thursday, asserting that there will come a day when these groups will defeat the Zionist regime.

The report highlighted Khamenei’s remarks that Hamas and other resistance leaders continue their fight, despite intensified Israeli airstrikes that have targeted and killed key figures within these groups.

In recent months, Israeli strikes and military actions have led to the deaths of top commanders from Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, along with several senior leaders within these organizations.

Both Hamas and Hezbollah are part of what is called the Axis of Resistance, a coalition that includes other Iran-backed groups based in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.

Following Hamas’s attack on October 7, 2023, Iran and its allies have engaged in ongoing hostilities with Israel and the United States, heightening concerns about a potential regional conflict.
