Houthis Back Hezbollah’s Israel Strikes, Threaten Their Own Attack

Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels expressed support for Hezbollah’s attacks on Israel on Sunday and reiterated their own threats to retaliate against Israeli strikes on a Yemeni port.

In a statement, the Houthis commended Hezbollah and its Secretary-General for the “great and courageous” attack launched against Israel earlier in the day. The statement also emphasized that a response to the Israeli strikes on Hodeida port, which occurred on July 20, “is definitely coming.”
