Hochstein to Visit Lebanon and Israel Midweek

U.S. mediator Amos Hochstein is scheduled to visit Beirut on Tuesday and Israel on Wednesday to advance the ceasefire agreement, with reports indicating progress in the negotiations.

Israeli state media quoted sources saying Israel anticipates significant advancements in the ceasefire talks with Lebanon during Hochstein’s visit next week.

Lebanon is expected to provide its response to Hochstein’s latest ceasefire proposal shortly. Speaker Nabih Berri received the proposal on Thursday.
