Hamas Leaders Bolt Lebanon for Nearby Nations

Following the assassination of Hamas deputy chief Saleh al-Arouri in Beirut, several Hamas officials who were residing in Lebanon have reportedly fled to other countries. This information comes from the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation, which stated that after the incident in Beirut’s southern suburbs on January 2, these officials sought refuge in countries like Turkey and Syria.

The report also mentions that Ghazi Hamad, a spokesperson for Hamas, has been in Cairo since the assassination of Arouri and is believed to have no intentions of returning to Lebanon.
