Gallant: Israel to Maintain Operations Against Hezbollah

On Friday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited the Israeli army’s northern command to review the outcomes of a recent operation, specifically highlighting the drone strike earlier that day which resulted in the elimination of a Hezbollah rocket unit leader.

Gallant declared that Israel’s military would continue its actions against Hezbollah, holding the group’s chief, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, accountable for any consequences, including the injury or death of its members.

He issued a stern warning, stating, “For every assault originating from Lebanon, we will exact a toll.”

This visit comes amid a surge in violent confrontations, prompting the White House to urge both Israel and Lebanon to prioritize efforts to de-escalate the situation and restore peace.
