France Condemns Golan Strike, Calls for Calm

France’s foreign ministry condemned the rocket attack on the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights on Sunday, which resulted in the deaths of 12 people, and called for efforts to prevent further escalation.

“France strongly condemns the deadly attack on the Druze town of Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights,” the ministry stated, urging that “all measures be taken to avoid a new military escalation.”
