Fenerbahce made a solid start to their Europa League campaign, securing a 2-1 home win against Union Saint-Gilloise and earning a 1-1 draw away to Twente, a team that also held Manchester United to a draw on the opening matchday at Old Trafford.

In the Turkish Super Lig, José Mourinho’s side will face Samsunspor next weekend, aiming for a second consecutive league victory after defeating Antalyaspor 2-0.
