Watch: Disney Drops Snow White Trailer Featuring Rachel Zegler, Gal Gadot

The first trailer for Disney’s *Snow White* has finally been released.

Originally scheduled to premiere in March this year, the film’s release was delayed due to the dual Hollywood strikes, including the SAG-AFTRA strike. It is now set to hit theaters on March 21, 2025.

Rachel Zegler will star as Snow White, with Gal Gadot playing the role of the Evil Queen. The trailer and release date were revealed during the D23 Disney event.

The film is directed by Marc Webb, known for *The Amazing Spider-Man*, and will feature music from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

This new adaptation of *Snow White* comes nearly 90 years after the original *Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs* premiered in 1937, establishing itself as a foundational part of the Disney legacy.

While this isn’t the first time *Snow White* has been revisited since 1937, with previous adaptations like *Mirror, Mirror* starring Lily Collins and *Snow White and the Huntsman* featuring Kristen Stewart, a significant investment has been made in this project.

Disney has several other live-action films in the works. In addition to *Snow White* in 2025, the studio plans to release *Mufasa: The Lion King* during the Christmas weekend on December 20.

Disney’s most recent live-action feature, *The Little Mermaid*, saw a solid box office performance, earning $569.6 million.
