Diddy Accuses Government of Leaking Cassie’s Viral Tape to Media

Sean “Diddy” Combs is making his third attempt to secure bail, as he remains in jail amid concerns that he might flee the country to avoid facing justice. Despite his efforts, it seems unlikely that bail will be granted. In response, Diddy’s legal team is now accusing the federal government of framing him.

According to Diddy’s team, the government intentionally leaked a disturbing video showing his alleged assault on his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. The footage, reportedly from a 2016 incident, captures Diddy being physically aggressive toward Cassie as she attempts to get away from him.

Diddy’s legal team has filed new documents, obtained by TMZ, in which they accuse the Department of Homeland Security of releasing the video to CNN. The footage allegedly shows Diddy “beating, dragging, and assaulting” Cassie at a hotel in Los Angeles. His attorneys argue that the government had a “motive” against Diddy and that their actions amount to “misconduct” in his criminal case.

Currently, Sean “Diddy” Combs is in jail, facing charges related to prostitution and racketeering. The case initially stemmed from Cassie Ventura’s accusation of sexual assault, which was settled within 24 hours. However, since then, additional allegations have surfaced from others.

Diddy’s lawyers claim that the release of the video was a deliberate attempt to damage his reputation and weaken his legal position. They believe that the leak was either due to a personal vendetta against him or an effort to pressure him into accepting a plea deal.
