Bayern Munich vs Stuttgart Prediction: 19/10/2024

After losing the German championship for the first time in 12 years last season, Bayern Munich is determined to reclaim the Meisterschale. Under new coach Vincent Kompany, who replaced Thomas Tuchel, the Bavarian giants started the season strong with four consecutive wins, including a 5-0 victory against Werder Bremen.

However, they then stumbled with a 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen and allowed Eintracht Frankfurt to equalize late in a 3-3 draw before the international break. Despite these setbacks, Bayern remains at the top of the Bundesliga, tied with RB Leipzig. They also had a commanding start to their European campaign, thrashing Dinamo Zagreb 9-2, but were unexpectedly defeated 1-0 by Aston Villa in their second Champions League match.

Stuttgart, on the other hand, secured second place last season by defeating Bayern, earning them a spot in the Champions League. However, their form in the competition has been less impressive, with a 3-1 loss to Real Madrid and a 1-1 draw against Sparta Prague. In the Bundesliga, they have not been as dominant, currently sitting in 8th place. After beating Mönchengladbach 3-1 and Borussia Dortmund 5-1, Stuttgart shared the points in draws with Wolfsburg (2-2) and Hoffenheim (1-1).

Bayern Munich is dealing with a significant number of absentees, including summer signing Ito, returning player Stanisic, right-back Sacha Boey, and rising star Jamal Musiala (3 goals), as well as French defender Upamecano and youngster Tel.
