Dima Sadek resigns from LBCI, says station kept her off air for political reasons

Sadek revealed that LBCI’s management, led by CEO Pierre Daher, had sidelined her due to her active political commentary and criticism on social media during Lebanon’s anti-government protests.

Known for her outspoken views and activism, Sadek stated that her political activity on platforms like Twitter conflicted with LBCI’s interests. Daher reportedly told her she could return to the network only if she ceased her online political commentary. Sadek refused, asserting that the reasons for her exclusion were politically motivated, which she could not accept amid the ongoing revolution.
