SIDON, Lebanon: Two more suspects were arrested Sunday for stealing a taxi and a number of sheep in south Lebanon last week, a security source told The Daily Star.

Two Palestinian men identified as Hasan H., born in 1993, and Ahmad Aa., born in 1997, were accused of stealing a taxi full of sheep, and authorities believe they belong to a theft gang. They were both referred to the Sidon police station for questioning.

The arrest comes after the Internal Security Forces Friday detained Omar S., a Palestinian man born in 1992, when he was caught driving a Mercedes taxi containing three sheep in Sharhabeel, northeast of Sidon.

Local police apprehended Omar S. and alerted the ISF, who determined that both the car and the sheep had been stolen.
