SIDON, Lebanon: Lebanese Army Intelligence Monday arrested a wanted man who was in hiding, after the counterfeit license plate on his car drew suspicion in Sidon.

The wanted suspect, Palestinian national Y.A., had reportedly been hiding out in the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp before he was detained by the Army. Army personnel did not specify what crimes the suspect was wanted for.

Although Y.A. was not found near the car – a red Ford – at the time that the Army initially searched the vehicle, he was immediately arrested when he returned to pick it up.
