Breaking: 6 Hezbollah Drones Successfully Strike Glilot Target

Hezbollah’s response to the assassination of its senior commander Fouad Shukur has been deemed successful, according to sources cited by pro-Hezbollah media outlets al-Mayadeen and al-Akhbar.

These sources informed al-Mayadeen, in comments published late Thursday, that Hezbollah effectively targeted an intelligence base just outside Tel Aviv last Sunday. Reports indicate that at least six drones launched by Hezbollah successfully hit their target in Glilot, near Tel Aviv, approximately 110 kilometers from Lebanon’s border, as per information from “trusted sources inside occupied Palestine.”

Hezbollah had previously claimed responsibility for an attack on Israel on Sunday morning, which reportedly targeted the Glilot intelligence base and an air defense base in central Israel.

Israeli authorities, however, stated that their intelligence base was not significantly affected, with initial assessments indicating “very little damage” in Israel.

According to al-Mayadeen and al-Akhbar, the sources claimed that Israeli authorities restricted civilian and media access to the area, enforcing a media blackout.

Hezbollah described the attack as an initial response to Shukur’s targeted killing in Beirut last month. Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah indicated that the group might “reserve the right to respond at a later time” if Sunday’s attack results prove inadequate.
