So Shiites are killing Sunni's, who are killing Shiites.. Who are both attacking the kurds.. who are all attacking coalition troops....

there is a new reality in the region, shame your sitting in your NYC slum isnt it...

Yes, that is the basic reason as to why resistance fighters spring up. And throughout history compromise has been the only way to solve these types of problems, the problem is that it is a religious conflict, and so neither side wants to compromise because they feel it would both tarnish their religions. Religious tolerance is the only way to end the conflict, and if they do not want to end the conflict then there will be more fighting. The religious war is the most deadly type of war because it refuses to listen to any reasoning outside of its respected religion. This makes the issue even more complicated when you factor in that most if not all the religions are supposedly religions of peace. Whenever politics and religion mix you have an ugly situation on your hands, there is really nothing you can do about it except educate yourself and stop obsessing about trying to put an end to it. It will end on its own.
