Syrian political prisoners launch hunger strike

Three political detainees in Syrian jails have gone on a hunger strike to protest their continuing detention, a lawyer said on Sunday. Khalil Maatuk said that lawyer Anwar al-Bunni, writer Michel Kilo and political activist Kamal Labwani decided on the strike on Saturday.
