Italy donates $1.5 million for Palestinians, Lebanese in Nahr al-Bared area

Italian Ambassador Gabriele Checchia signed an agreement Thursday at his embassy in Baabda with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) representative Marta Ruedas pledging 1.2 million euros ($1.5 million) to finance a project to improve the lives of Palestinians and Lebanese living in the battered Nahr al-Bared Palestinian refugee camp.
